Oh the Places I Go

so for spring break, me and my familia took a trip to a little place called Tokyo.  it was ridiculous. the food is insane there. you can buy octupus dumplings in the food court. and octopus kabobs on the street.

sick right?  there are just some things i refuse to eat.  i got to go to youth conference with the tokyo south district. i really loved all the people. there wasn't one mean person there.

we went to a bunch of places, which i have no clue how to spell, or pronounce, so thats all for now.

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (just not on my driveway)

yesterday, we had wind gusts of over 40 mph. yesterday is also the day our heating decided to break. it took until 2 o'clock today for a repair man to come, cause he had to dig himself out of a 4 foot snow drift. i know for myself how annoying that is, as i spent the morning shoveling the driveway, which had frozen to ice, and a pathway to the mailbox, so that our house could actually get mail. luckily he did come, and our house was reheated to its natural 68 degrees, instead of 50.

i have come to greatly dread the thought of snow. it's been the snowiest winter on record here, and i only have 9 snow days left! and in the end, i'm starting to miss the drone of math class, and the matchy outfits that my history teacher loves, and even the cold dark corner i have to sit in during spanish by myself. but, theres only so many times you can watch your movies without wishing that you actually had something stimulating to do. but we've been snowed in, so not much could be done.

luckily, i have the My Little Pony jumbo coloring and activity book that my dad gave me for christmas, and a couple of fully stocked book cases, and one warm cosy bed. i think i'll make it through until school resumes on tuesday. i really dont want to shovel anymore.
